We had an action packed weekend with games on Saturday and Sunday, dEcemb er 3 & 4. Both games were battles and showcased a lot of scoring.  Our opponents on Saturday were the Fearless Flyers from the “City of Brotherly Love”.  As I said this was an old fashioned Donny Brook and the Flyers were everything but brotherly. Only kidding guys!  It was a terrific game and each team should be proud of their effort. We provided pizza and soda to our guest and as always a good time was had by all.

On Sunday we traveled to Bethpage, New York to face the Long Island Blues. The Blues were pounding our goal all day and had our goalie Matty Brighton diving in all directions. It was great to see scoring from a variety of our players and superb goal tending by Matty. The Blues out scored the Dare Devils 11-8 but the effort our guys showed by skating almost the full 60 minutes was amazing!

On Saturday we’re traveling to Philadelphia to face the Fearless Flyers on their home ice. The game is scheduled for 8:30 AM. If you’re planning on skating be at the arena no later then 8:00 AM. Practice originally schedule for 4:00 PM at the Codey Area has been cancelled.

Special shout out this week goes to Cameron Wong. Cameron is a member of the Woodbridge Wolf Pack. Cameron has been skating with the Dare Devils on our travel team. On Sunday against the Blues he had an assist and a goal. Thanks Cameron for participat-ing and we look forward to future games with you!
