The New Jersey Dare Devils (NJDD) was started in 2002 by the mother of a child seeking to find a physical outlet for her child with autism. Today there are 50 boys and girls ages 6 to 28, with various special needs, playing for the NJDD at the Richard Codey Arena in West Orange NJ.  Supporting these special hockey players are 10 adult coaches and over 60 junior/student coaches who are local youth hockey players helping to instruct the NJDD players in the intricacies of hockey.

SAVE THE DATE! Monday, JULY 16 - NJ Dare Devils Golf Outing

Save the Date - Monday, July 16, 2012 for a NJ Dare Devils Golf Outing.

Details to come in the following months.  The golf outing will be at the Knolls Country Club in Parsippany, N.J.

The day's outing include golf and dinner.  More to follow.

Special Needs Winter Hockey Classic - Brick Stars Host Fundraising game vs. NJ Dare Devils

The Brick Stars have invited the NJ Dare Devils to play in the Special Needs Wintet Hockey Classic, a fundraising game for the Brick Stars at Avon Pond in Avon-By-The-Sea, NJ on Sunday, February 5, at noon.

Avon Pond is an outdoor arena without any cover.  Dress warmly.
